The Integrated Cooking method relies on these basic elements:
- Solar (sun's free energy as a supplement to fuel wood)

- Six brick "Rocket" Stoves (fuel and energy efficient)
- Haybasket (heat retained cooker-similar to a thermos)

- Water Purification Instrument (WAPI)
Our program utilizes all three methods because Mother Nature is fickle
at times. When the sun shines we opt to use the solar cookers to cook
the food. When it is overcast or raining we use the "Rocket" stoves,
which burn small twigs, brush, or biomass. Haybaskets are used to
complete the cooking process or keep food hot for 4 - 6 hours. WAPIs
are used to indicate when water is pasteurized-clean for drinking.
